At Ahavah Student Care Centre, caring for your children is our priority. They will find comfort food and warmth in a cozy environment with a homely ambience — a place where they feel safe and supported after school.
In caring for your child, we hope to help them develop empathy, love, and the ability to interact and form relationships. A child finds their identity through growing up in healthy relationships with peers and adults. A strong sense of self will help the child become confident and grow up with a strong self-worth, thereby helping them in their lifelong journey. To this end, we will design psychoeducation programs to teach emotional regulation and positive coping skills, to help the child develop a good concept of self and promote good emotional health in a Christian nurturing environment.

We will use role-play to simulate challenging situations at school that are faced by the child, encourage dialogue and conversations, where the child will feel safe to speak up and share emotional issues that they could be struggling with. Through this, the child will know that they do not have to face problems alone and how problems can be solved.
At Ahavah, we hope to partner with parents to develop a secure base for the child to form secure attachment, to ready the child to launch out to the world with strong emotional health amidst life’s ups and downs. Our after school care programme is designed to support this journey — offering more than just supervision, but a nurturing environment where children grow emotionally and socially.
